Donations From The Heart Volunteer Race Runner Program

Mission
We have developed a program to help support local communities through the support of our volunteer efforts called “VOLUNTEER RACE RUNNER.” This model of service is founded on the principle of “Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself” and is also based on the Apostle Paul’s desire and self-discipline to lay aside his own life for the service of God’s work and to run a race in service to God and others which in-turn offers an everlasting reward. |
“I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. This program is a brief “how-to” training that will exemplify the mission of Donations From The Heart ensuring the message of love, compassion and discipline is displayed through our helping hands approach as we serve in outreach and ministry to those we are blessed to encounter.
A few of our current volunteers, as well as others who desire to assist us, have previously served as volunteers with other organizations and missions. This experience is great and will help us in our endeavors to enhance those skills and focus our approach in the area of service.
We hope to offer more than a “good cause” activity; but an opportunity for our volunteers to experience a heart-felt change that will radiate throughout the communities they serve and support. When someone encounters a DFTH Volunteer Race Runner, they will meet a light of hope and encouragement.
We believe that serving others is the highest level of leadership. In general terms, volunteering is the practice of people working on behalf of others or a particular cause without payment for their time and services. We seek volunteers that are trained in particular areas such as education, medical assistance, transportation/emergency rescue, child care, and elder care, as well as those that are willing to serve in whatever capacity they are needed.
