ABOUT US

Donations from the Heart Inc. has been serving the needs of those in local communites since 2004. In 2011, we obtained 501c(3) staus and the approval by the State of Maryland Charities Division as a State recognized Non-profit Organization. We are located in Odenton, MD and are centrally located to serve those in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. We are a Christian based non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged individuals and families by sharing the resources God has made available to us with those who are in need. We are committed to provide spiritual hope, awareness and encouragement to all those willing to receive.

By sharing the word of God through the Doctrine of Jesus Christ as well as assisting with the monetary needs of others, we hope the principle of “love thy neighbor as thy self” will become contagious. The recipients of our program will someday be in a position to assist others as they once received assistance during a time of need. People are blessed and hearts are changed when mercy and love are the motivation for giving. Here at Donations From The Heart, we believe that God provides us with resources, and as we are led by The Lord Jesus Christ, we share those resources with others and store up treasures in heaven. We graciously welcome donations and the support from those that believe in our mission.

Our desire for our donors is to participate as volunteers in supporting one of our field activities per year. This will allow donors to see firsthand how Donations From The Heart is changing lives and making a difference as well as receive a blessing from those of whom they lend a helping hand. It is remarkable to discover how much the giver can be blessed by the receiver. Through the Grace of God and the generous hearts of many who support our mission of service, we say Thank You!​
